Services

At Camellia Counselling, you will be welcomed to a compassionate and safe environment where you will have space to explore and express your thoughts, experiences and feelings. Through a connection with your counsellor, you will be supported through this process without judgement or being told what to do, but you may sometimes be given suggestions or work towards goals that could help you. As your counsellor, I am trained in a range of different counselling approaches and this allows me to work flexibly in a way that you feel works best for you.

Please see below for a range of services on offer. If you have any questions or you're worried about seeking counselling in any way, please don't hesitate to get in touch.

Online counselling

£45 per session

This service has many of the benefits of seeing a counsellor in person but you access your counselling via a computer or phone using video and/or audio to communicate. This type of counselling offers flexibility as there is no need to spend time travelling to a counsellor’s office, and can be accessed from a quiet, private place of your choosing, at a time that suits you. I use secure software (Zoom) that offers confidentiality and peace of mind.

Telephone counselling

£45 per session

Offers all the flexibility of online counselling but can be particularly good for people who find it hard to express their thoughts and feelings when they see a counsellor face-to-face.

Student counsellors

£25 per session

I offer a special rate for 10 sessions of online counselling for student counsellors undertaking personal therapy as part of their course.

Outdoor counselling

£50 per session

Many people feel more relaxed and comfortable when walking or wheeling with a counsellor in the outdoors. The fresh air, movement and being alongside rather than face-to-face can be very beneficial for a range of people. Weather permitting, I offer this type of therapy at locations in Essex close to:

  • Southend on Sea

  • Westcliff on Sea

  • Leigh on Sea

  • Rochford

  • Hockley

  • Rayleigh

Discounted rates

£20 per session

I hold a number of spaces at a specially discounted rate for full time students, those in receipt of certain benefits, senior citizens and those who hold a Blue Light Card. This rate is for 12 sessions of online or telephone counselling.
